Individual visitor registration is now officially open for the 48th WorldSkills Competition. Competition days will run from 23 to 26 September 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

Interested individuals may register online through the following official channels:

1. the WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 mobile application,
2. the official WeChat mini program,
3. the official Alipay mini program,
4. the WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 official website: https://www.worldskills2026.com/visit for overseas visitors and https://www.worldskills2026.com.cn/visit for domestic visitors.

Registration is available online only. No on-site or walk-in registration is available.

Visitor registration closes on 14 September 2026. For assistance during the registration process, please contact visitor.registration@wss2026.com. The inquiry period runs from 28 August until 26 September 2026.

Individual visitors must present a valid E-Pass and complete identity verification before entering the venue. International visitors must also present the original passport used for registration. Individual visitors may select a preferred visit date when making a reservation. The selected date is for planning purposes only and does not restrict admission. A valid E-Pass grants access to enter the venue on any or all Competition days. Attendance is free of charge, and no booking fee, admission fee, or other additional charges will be collected.

Visitor admission hours are as follows:

23 September: 10:00 – 17:00;
24-26 Sepetember : 09:00 – 17:00.
23-26 September are the Competition days. All registered visitors may enter on these days. Entry will close at 16:00, and visitors are to leave the venue at 5 pm. Visitors who have a valid booking for the day may exit and re-enter the venue multiple times within the valid session period.

An estimated 1,400 Competitors from 73 countries and regions will compete in 64 skills, including seven new emerging occupations. Skills range from Robotics, Cloud Computing, and Cyber Security to Aircraft Maintenance, Cooking, and Welding. Each Competitor has earned their place through national and regional selection competitions and will showcase their skills on the Global Stage for Skills in Shanghai.

22 September 2026: Opening Ceremony
23–25 September 2026: WorldSkills Conference 2026
23–26 September 2026: Competition Days and WorldSkills Expo
27 September 2026: Closing Ceremony (Medal presentation)
